2Being the movie that was to be the Bollywood launch pad of comedy king Kapil Sharma, Kis Kisko Pyar Karoon was one of the most awaited films of the year. Besides Kapil himself, the movie stars Supriya Pathak, Elli Avram, Aarbaaz Khan, Manjari Phadnis, Sai Lokur and Simran Kaur Mundi. The film directed by Abbas Mustan was released in theatres across India on 25th Sep 2015.

The story of the film revolves around a wealthy man, Kumar Shiv Ram Kishan played by Kapil Sharma, who in an effort to be a good samaritan, ends up marrying three different women. Following the suggestion of his lawyer friend Karan played by Varun Sharma, Kumar Shiv Ram Kishan puts up all his wives played by Manjari Phadnis, Sai Lokur and Simran Kaur Mundi, in apartments on successive floors of the same building. However his woes do not end here as he is all set to tie the knot for the fourth time with Deepika played by Elli Avram. How the polygamist manages to handle the four ladies without making them aware of his secret, is what forms the story of the film.

The director duo of Abbas Mastan has tried to recreate the magic of similar successful movies from the 1990’s. Sadly their efforts have not been successful as this latest version completely lacks any logic and despite being entertaining, the various comedy situations are more idiotic than amusing. Even the supporting cast in the movie adds to the confusion in the movie which is further pulled down by its absolutely dull climax. Fortunately, for Kapil Sharma, the movie is not the end of his Bollywood journey.

Overall this movie does not meet the skills of this ace comedian and IndiaCafe24 gives Kis Kisko Pyar Karoon a rating of 2.5 stars.
