Movie Review: RRR – The story of two friends but not entertainer material

Cast: N.T Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgan, Olivia Morris

Director: S.S Rajamouli

Genre: Action, Drama

Rating: 3

RRR is one such movie that depicts the story of real-life freedom fighters Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. RRR is a story of two friends, Bheem and Ramaraju, who have different missions in life. The plot is jam-packed with action and drama.
The movie narrates the story of young police officer Ramaraju played by Ram Charan, an angry police officer.  Jr.NTR played the sweet yet innocent character of Bheem, in the film.
Bheem belongs to the Gond tribal and reaches the city to rescue a girl named Malli. It marks the beginning of the story. RRR is an entirely fictional story of the 1920s Delhi region. Bheem fights with Nizams and warns British rulers not to take him lightly.
The character of Ramaraju is a well-trained and strict police officer who has a past. The movie is not conveying anything about any freedom movement, but it speaks about the British era.
The first part of the movie delivers emotions, song, dance, fun and explores the friendship of Bheem and Ramaraju. However few scenes look forcefully added, like the incredible transformation of Ramaraju.
The best thing about the film is that director Rajamouli balances the first and second part cleverly. No doubt this movie managed to attract that segment of the audience in love with action and drama.
The story screenplay got executed beautifully. Jr.NTR delivered the best action scenes in the movie.  Ramaraju has given life to his character after his transformation.
The other actors, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, and others, did a fair job. Olivia managed to win the heart of the audience. The screenplay, cast, songs, and dance are delivered well in the movie. The background and song lyrics have a different impact on the movie.
It is nowhere close to a perfect film and has many flaws. Thus, IndiaCafe24 gives RRR 3 stars. A fair one-time watch movie is RRR.
