Mohammad Azharuddin Biopic now has Nimrat Kaur in the role of the lawyer
Recently, so many films are being made on the lives of the sports persons of the nation. Most of these films are gaining the attention as well as the appreciation by the viewers. After films such as Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Mary Kom, Bollywood is back with two more ventures, one is over the life of MS Dhoni and the other over Mohammad Azharuddin. For the later, there has been a huge craze and interest from the part of the viewers as who will play the part of this famous cricketer with controversial career as well as who will be playing the supporting roles.
As the buzz regarding the casting was going high, latest news confirms that Nimrat Kaur is selected in the role of the lawyer for the film. The actress who played a crucial role in the film The Lunchbox, is now here to play yet another crucial role.
As is confirmed till now, this biopic, directed by Tony D’Souza will have Emran Hashmi in the role of Mohammad Azaruddin and Prachi Desai as his wife Naureen. Both the stars have started to work with their looks and appearances while the other cast and crew are getting selected, Nimrat being the latest one.
However, as is confirmed from a publication, this role that Nimrat will be playing is not inspired by the real life people. In fact, this is a fully fictional role. But it is this character who will play a very vital part of the whole narrative of the story. Nimrat turned out to be perfect for this role.
Before this selection Prachi Desai had confirmed her role as Emran’s wife. She had also confessed her desire to play the role of Sangeeta Bijlani. Now the selection of Nimrat has once again invigorated the sports fans and the movie fans.
