4.5 starsHaving read and reviewed the first book of Shikha, He Fixed The Match, She Fixed Him, I was really looking forward to reading her second book Logically Stupid, That’s Love. Like before, I was immediately impressed by the cover page of the book as it provided an indication about the storyline of the book. The clash of ambition and love can prove to be an intriguing plot for a romantic tale, as Shikha has rightly proved.
Logically Stupid, That’s Love tells the tale of Sahana, an adorable and modest female, who is in love with Kartik and is waiting for the day when the two of them will be together forever. However, despite his initial flirting with Sahana, Kartik is consumed by his desire of attaining success at all costs. After waiting for 5 long years for Kartik, Sahana finally senses that his logic is gaining an upper hand and this shatters her heart and decides to finally forego of her love for Kartik. However, destiny has other plans as it brings the two protagonists in front of each other once again.
Though it is only her second book, Shikha Kumar has proved her caliber as a great storyteller. The characters of Sahana and Kartik are quite realistic and I as a reader never felt like I was reading a fairytale romance. In addition to depicting the emotional upheavals of love, Shikha Kumar has also highlighted the trait of the current generation to not valuing anything that they get easily. Another, aspect that appealed to me as a reader is the use of simple yet crisp language. The author has also managed to put in enough twists and turns in the plot that made it nearly impossible for me to find even a single dull moment in the entire book.
Logically Stupid is a great read and a book that has established Shikha Kumar as an elite writer!

each and every character is so well shaped and penned down that I can very well say that Shikha is a true magician who can bring realistic views even in a genre called Romance. Just too good work Shikha
