Krishti Khandelwal is one of those young talented kids of India who can best be described as a pool of talent. I consider myself lucky to know this young girl from Delhi virtually, for her creative talent in multiple segments.
I got the chance to find about her writing skills when she first contributed to my first compilation, “Lockdown Kaleidoscope.” Her expression was brilliant, and I realized there was a spark in her. She is just 12 or 13 years old, and I could witness a spark of promise in her poems when I picked up her first solo poem collection, “The Symphony of My Words.”

What does this collection offer?

A kid’s heart is always pure and what it speaks is the expression of her actual imagination. The book is a perfect combo of different emotional flavors. Few of the poems are short, simple & sweet, and a few poems are so deep in meaning that I wondered how a young girl could have so much depth in her writing. The poems will make you think about our lives during the lockdown days. Krishti is a positive-minded girl, and reflection of it is there in the poems, inked by her. Promising poets like Krishti are blessings to society. She respects every relation in her life and dedicated a few of the poems to her dad, mom, and brother. Every poem of her speaks something different and unique.

About the writing style?

She is just 12 years old and her level of maturity while playing with words to ink her emotions mesmerized me completely. I would not mind saying that her inking style can challenge many adult poets of recent times.

My Favorites from the book:

This book is a collection of 34 poems, and my personal favorites are:
  • Pandemic and the eternal peace.
  • When the quarantine is over.
  • Space
  • God is my perspective.
  • To be honest, It was a great year.
  • The Pandemic.

Final Verdict:

Yes, I give this poetry collection by this young and bubbly girl a perfect 5/5. Krishti, you are full of promise, and I wish to read more of your poetry in the coming time. Never stop and keep inking, as the world needs poets like you to create a new history of the poetic world.
