4-starsAlthough romantic books don’t appeal to me much, there are some books from this genre which have left a lasting impression on me as a reader. Someone To Love by Ruchita Mishra is definitely one such book that presents a love story in a mature way. The simple design and concept of the cover page fail to do justice to the wonderful saga that unfolds as you turn page after page of the book till the very end.
Atharv and Koyal are childhood buddies who share each other’s deepest secrets and even understand one another without using any words. Little do these kindred spirits realize that they are in fact soul mates and made for each other!  As their childhood friendship continues into adulthood, Atharv meets Niti and falls for her leaving Koyal burning with jealousy. She then drops out of college and marries Amit. The two friends fall apart and do not meet each other until ten years later through a chance encounter in London. Will the two be able to realize their love for each other this time or will they once again go their separate ways like before is what forms the rest of the story.
Ruchita Mishra has a knack for retaining the interest of the readers by crafting unique tales that are narrated in a simple yet curious manner. Her skillful writing along with the ability to develop each character in realistic manner makes her books truly a good for reading. With Someone To Love, she has once again exhibited her potential as a remarkable writer especially by ensuring that the twists and turns of the plot are streamlined to ensure a delightful reading experience. Someone To Love is definitely a great addition to my collection and I wish Ruchita all the best for its success.
