I have reviewed various self-help books dealing with the topic of stress management and positive thinking. So when I was asked to review The Science Of Mind Management, I felt a sense of Deja Vu However, I was intrigued by the fact that the book had been penned by Swami Mukundananda, a yogi. When I received the book, my attention was immediately caught by the glowing and calm picture of Swamiji’s smiling face printed on its front cover. This more than anything else motivated me to start reading the book in earnest.
The complexity of the human mind continues to astonish researchers from across the globe and it is the single biggest factor responsible for determining the quality of life of an individual. The book explores the four different parts of the human mind and offers the readers a roadmap to control them and use them to their advantage.  It focuses on the fact that our mind is our best friend as well as our worst enemy and whether we use it as our greatest ally or our biggest foe depends on our ability to manage it effectively. The books suggest various techniques based on both ancient Vedic aspects as well as modern scientific methods to develop a positive frame of mind.
The book can go a long way in changing the perspective of the readers towards life and helping them to enjoy a more happy, healthy, and satisfied living. It presents the solutions to attain mastery over the mind through various examples derived from the life of some of the most successful individuals. The book is written in a simple and easy to understand language and can prove to be a great read for people struggling with stress and anxiety. The book is quite unlike any other self-help book and is sure to be recommended for everyone.
