3 point 5 starsDishoom is one of the most awaited films for the second half of 2016 and has generated quite a buzz with its stunning star cast. The movie features John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez, Varun Dhawan, Akshay Khanna, Nargis Faqri and Saquib Saleem. It has been directed by Rohit Dhawan, who has also written the screenplay along with Tushar Hiranandani. The music for the movie, which was released in theatres on 29th Jul 2016 has been composed by Pritam and has become quite popular.

Police officer Kabir (John Abraham) and his junior assistant Junaid (Varun Dhawan) are called into action when, ace Indian cricketer Viraj Sharma (Saquib Saleem), goes missing just a couple of days before an important match between India and Pakistan.  It is soon revealed that man responsible for the abduction is none other than the devious bookie, who calls himself Wagah (Akshaye Khanna) and wants Viraj to accept his offer to fix the match. With only 36 hours left for the big clash, Kabir and Junaid, hunt through several bazaars, harems and even polished skyscrapers to find Viraj and prevent Wagah from fulfilling his nefarious dream.

Dishoom is an out and out masaala entertainer and despite the fact that it has a highly predictable plot, the chemistry between John and Varun makes the movie a delight to watch.  Other highlights of the movie are its rich visuals, great action and engaging narrative which keep the audiences glued to their seats till the very end. The humorless and cheesy lines that form a part of every dialogue between John and Varun, have been delivered with such finesse by the two actors that they add to the entertainment quotient of the movie. Overall, Dishoom proves to be great fun to watch and IndiCafe24 gives it a rating of 3.5 stars.
