Ghar Waapasi revolves around the homecoming of a middle-class household’s eldest son. 
Shekhar Dwivedi (Vishal Vashishtha) got fired from his job in Bangalore. He returned to his home in Indore after two years. All the family members, consisting of his father (Atul Srivastava), mother (Vibha Chibber), younger brother Sanju (Saad Bilgrami), and younger sister Suruchi (Anushka Kaushik), are on cloud nine to see him after so many days.
But, Shekhar does not disclose his unemployment to his dear ones on arrival. When the members learn about this mishap, that is where the story begins. Amid innocent siblings, fighting audience can witness the clear bias of parents Shekhar. He is the apple of their eye. Shekhar reconnects with his family and himself in a new way. He also discovers his flair for business. Besides this, he started realizing there is a life beyond a career.  Ghar Waapasi has many scenes that the viewers can relate to their lives. The occurrences are much prevalent in any middle-class family. The way, Shekhar’s guilt of not giving time to his friends will touch every heart. He is missing out on life because of working, those episodes viewers will connect to.
Ruchir Arun has once again created a masterpiece portraying familial love and bonding. All the actors have in a unique way portrayed their roles, and nobody has gone overboard. But, Anushka Kaushik’s duration on screen could have been longer. This I am saying knowing her popularity on the OTT platform. 
So, what’s the underlining fact revealed through this web series? It is that home is the only pilgrimage when everything else in life is haywire. Considering the well-played roles and the beautifully relatable script, IndiaCafe24 gives Ghar Waapasi 4 stars.
