My Honest Experience with Jivisa’s Ayurvedic Skincare Products
Because my skin deserved a touch of nature.
I am one such person who has remained always vocal and supportive towards Ayurveda for its deep connection with nature and holistic well-being. I will not deny that being vocal happened to me after trying multiple modern skincare brands with negligible or almost nil long-term benefits. That realization finally made me finally take the call to go back to the roots—and yes it’s an honest confession. One day I was checking out my Instagram when I came across Jivisa.
Naturally, I got attracted to its products because of the promise of the luxury Ayurvedic skincare experience it mentioned. Trust me I was very curious, and I purchased four of their products that seemed perfect for my skin type and concerns. After using the products for a couple of weeks I decided to share my opinion and yes genuine opinion about the products with my readers.
1. Ananta Velvet Skin Kumkumadi & Jatamansi Facial Cleanser
Let me start by saying this face wash feels luxurious from the first pump. The texture is smooth and silky—true to its name “Velvet Skin.” The subtle aroma of Kumkumadi and Jatamansi instantly gives a spa-like feel.
After using Ananta Velvet Skin Kumkumadi & Jatamansi Facial Cleanser consistently for a couple of weeks, I noticed my skin not only felt cleaner but looked brighter and calmer. No dryness, no tightness—just balanced, fresh skin. It doesn’t strip away natural oils, which is a huge win for someone like me with combination skin. I love how it preps my skin beautifully before applying other products.
2. Jivisa Luxury Ayurvedic Handmade Soaps Gift Box
This Luxury Ayurvedic Handmade Soaps Gift Box is a delightful treat—for both the senses and the skin. I bought this thinking I would gift it to someone, but I ended up keeping it for myself (guilty, but no regrets!).
Each soap is handcrafted, beautifully packed, and carries a distinct natural aroma. My personal favorite is the Chandan-Tulsi soap—it’s calming and makes me feel truly cleansed. They don’t melt away quickly like commercial soaps, and they leave my skin feeling soft, not stripped or dry. Plus, the box itself is so elegant, it makes for a perfect gifting option.
3. Gulaab Chandan Ubtan
This is a true traditional gem. I’ve used several ubtans before, but this one has a perfect balance of rose and sandalwood, which feels deeply soothing and grounding.
I usually mix it with rose water or milk, apply it as a pack, and leave it on for about 15 minutes. After washing it off, my skin feels super soft, smooth, and visibly brighter. I also noticed that Gulaab Chandan Ubtan it helps calm down redness and little breakouts. I now use it twice a week as a ritual—it’s my moment of self-care.
4. Kesara Illume Moisturiser – Firming Facial Cream
This Kesara Illume Moisturiser – Firming Facial Cream is a game-changer for me. The texture is rich yet non-greasy, and it melts into the skin beautifully. It’s packed with saffron (kesara), which is known for enhancing glow and improving skin tone.
Within a few days of using it, my skin started feeling firmer and more nourished. It gives a subtle radiance without feeling heavy. I even noticed my makeup sits better after applying this cream. What I truly appreciate is that it doesn’t clog pores—no breakouts, just healthy, happy skin.
If you’ve been considering giving your skincare routine a more holistic, Ayurvedic touch, I’d wholeheartedly recommend starting with any of these. You’ll feel the difference—not just on your skin but in your daily self-care ritual.
