Two Birds, One Tune -Dosti Ki Kahani- Short Series
A colorful parrot, Mitthu, and a cute little sparrow, Soni, used to live on a big tree.
Mitthu mimicked Soni’s lovely songs in her own style. That style of mimicry made the songs sound unique and funny.
It was a stormy, rainy night when Soni’s nest collapsed. She felt helpless and was shivering in fear.
Mitthu came forward and lovingly took her under her wings. She whispered in Soni’s ears, “Don’t worry, Soni, I am here and you are safe now, my friend.” Soni looked up towards Mitthu and found a new hope to start again.
Together, after the rain, they built a strong new nest that was brimming with love and laughter.
Looking at their friendship, the bird’s world gave them the title of “chirpy duo”.
Soni-Mitthu were taken as an example by everyone in the forest, as the duo who made friendship sound lovely.
