The saying “All that glitters is not gold”, is apt for Vikram Dhawan’s Vodka Vagina Vanity – Tales Of The Absurd. This book sends out the message that revenge can be taken gracefully by luring and trapping one’s enemies tactfully. Check Out the Book Review.

Character Development

character-development-indiacafe24-book-review
All the characters in the book are well-developed and look real. The author managed to maintain transparency in establishing the background of Sherry and her call to take up acting as her career. Every other character has also been given sufficient scope to contribute to the plot.

Story

Indiacafe24-story-book-review
The story is predominantly a thriller, and it broaches the subject of revenge in a completely unheard-of and refreshing manner. Here, the plot is quite interesting and will keep the readers hooked till the very end. What I noticed is that the flow is quite good despite the numerous twists and turns in the tale.

Writing style

writing-style-book-review
The language of the book is simple and, understandable. It makes it easier for a reader to relate to the story. All the aspects and situations got portrayed well.
But here is one thing that I wish to highlight. In some areas, there is unwanted use of words and information. That somehow affected the flow turning it slow-paced. The plot remained good, but the unwanted use of words spoiled the charm
Yes, the cover page design of the book reflects the fear, struggle, and sense of loss of the protagonist.

Book Review Final Verdict:

The book promotes the thought that one can achieve the impossible with determination and hope, and I give it a rating of 3.0/5.
